Two National Lottery Control Board (NLCB) wildcard spots are left in the ISM competition. These will be selected via a public vote from a shortlist of four artists who almost secured a spot in the finals.

The four wild card artists are Kernal Roberts, Peter Wiggins (Peter Ram), Sherwin Jeremiah (M1, aka Mennace) and Terrin Callender (Jaiga).

Meanwhile, two artists were also selected to compete for the Carib Breakout Artiste of the Year (CBAY). They were Jadel and Salty. Both artists were selected based on the results of fan voting and a new round of voting has already begun. It will end at 6pm on Fantastic Friday where the CBAY competitors will perform and the winner will receive $100,000.
