Father of Six Murdered Before Christmas

Christmas 2015 will forever be scarred on the hearts of six siblings, after their father was murdered while on the job just six days before the joyous holiday.

Thirty-one year old Keron Warrican, a bouncer at Amnesia night club in Charlieville, was reportedly on duty when he and another bouncer along with two police officers, were attempting to quell a fight outside the nightclub, at around 3AM on Saturday (Dec 19th). During the commotion in a fit of rage, an angry relative of one of the men involved in the fight reportedly got into a white Nissan Almera and drove full speed into the crowd hitting the bouncers and the policemen.

The relative reportedly attempted to run over a third officer who, in turn, shot at the car with his licensed revolver hitting the driver in the leg, disabling him. Warrican died while receiving treatment at hospital while the other bouncer, Constables Rakesh Ramcharita and Daren Peack remain warded in serious condition at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex in Mt. Hope.

The driver of the Almera was also taken to hospital and remains under police guard.

Police are expected to thoroughly review CCTV footage of the incident to assist in their investigations.
