Brian Lara is Not Out

That's the name of an exclusive web series that is set to be launched by YuppTV today, November 6th. It's the first bit of original content by the recently launched internet station and consists of five episodes focusng on the Prince of Port Of Spain

The cricket legend returns to the field this weekend to play in an "All Stars Cricket Series" aimed at the US audience and spanning the continental USA from New York to Los Angeles.

The show revolves around this return focusing on Lara’s personal life, his passion for cricket and his physical, mental and emotional preparation when Sachin Tendulkar invites him for the ‘All Stars Cricket’ series. It will also show a sneak peek into how he comes back to the pitch at the age of 46.

Commenting on his new 'career' Brian Lara said, “I am excited to play again and overwhelmed to see the huge response for ‘Not Out’s’ curtain raiser.”

Speaking about the series, Founder and CEO of YuppTV Uday Reddy said, “We are excited to launch this original content with a passionate sportsman, Brian Lara.”

Co-producer Madhura Sreedhar Reddy said, "Brian Lara was inspiration to cricket lovers across the world. But, it’s great to see him inspiring us even at the age of 46.”

YuppTv is available through subscription on every web streaming devices while the All Star Cricket Series bowls off this Saturday with the first game at CitiField in NYC. Two teams captained by Sachin Tendulkar and Shane Warne and featuring basically every cricket star of the nineties, face off over three games.

West Indies legends Curtly Ambrose, Courtney Walsh and Carl Hooper will also be participating. Lara, as always, remains a cut above the rest though as the accompanying Web Series reminds us.
