Trinidad and Tobago's under-20 Women's team have been drawn in Group A along with hosts Honduras, neighbours Jamaica and Canada for the Concacaf qualifying round toward next year's U20 Women's World Cup in Papua New Guinea.
The other group comprises USA, Mexico, Panama and caribbean champs Haiti.
Three teams from Concacaf qualify directly to the World Cup. The qualifying format requires the top two teams from both groups to play a semi-final round with the winners progressing to the final (and qualifying for the world cup) while the losing semi-finalists meet ina third place playoff to determine the final qualifier.
The CONCACAF Final Rounds of qualifiers begin on December 3rd with T&T opening the competition with a game against Canada.
We wish the girls all the best and will be following their progress on the road to Papua New Guinea.
