International School Port of Spain has positioned themselves as the team to beat notching a 33-0 win over St James Secondary as action returned to the Queen’s Park Savannah, opposite the Botanical Gardens, on Day 2 of the competition. The ISPS team had previously scored 43 unanswered points against Tranqulity on the opening day.
Tranquility Secondary who are campaigning in the league for the first time ever and are just finding their feet found things a little better as they managed to limit Providence to just ten points However, the game ended 10-0 in favour of the Belmont based girls. Danielle De Gannes, a member of the SGRLTT All-Star team, continues to impress both with her skill and leadership of the Providence team. Bishops Anstey High School also continued their winning start albeit by default as opponents Mucurapo West Secondary were unable to field a full squad.
In the third match played at the venue, Bishops Centenary trounced Corpus Christi by a 22-0 margin in their first game of the fledgling season.
