9 T&T students cop CSEC/CAPE awards


CSEC and CAPE awards were announced and Trinidad and Tobago students have won nine. The announcement was made at the Post Cabinet Media Briefing today by Communications Minister Maxie Cuffie.

The CAPE awardees are:

Dmitri Pollard, most outstanding student in Information and Communication Technology

Yohance Osborne of Hillview College, Mathematics

Puja Rambaran, St. Joseph’s Convent, Port-of-Spain, Environmental Studies

Nadia Ali, Naparima Girls’ College, Humanities

Vasha Maharaj, Naparima Girls’ College, Modern Languages

Alex Navarro, Fatima College, Technical Studies

Thiana Hay, St. Augustine Girls’High School, Natural Sciences

Two T&T students also received CSEC awards:

Sajal Bascombe, Bishops Anstey High School, Visual Arts- 2 dimensional work

Angel Neptune, Bishop Anstey High School, Visual Arts – 3 dimensional work

The results are for students who wrote the examinations in May this year.
