Human head, decapitated body found in separate locations in Port-of-Spain

Police are continuing investigations into the finding of a human head and a decapitated body, both in separate areas of Port-of-Spain.

The discovery of the head was made when a Port-of-Spain Corporation worker was removing bags of garbage from a concrete dumpster on Quarry Street, East Port-of-Spain, when the head rolled out, early Wednesday morning. Police were contacted and Senior Superintendent of the Port-of-Spain Division, Johnny Abraham and a team of officers responded.

While police began searching the Beetham landfill, a decapitated body was found on Prince Street, Port-of-Spain near Super Hardware.

The head and body were removed to the Forensic Science Centre where an attempt was made to ascertain whether the head and body belong to eachother.
